I swear
I did every thing I could to avoid the fight,
but as always
I couldn't satify them.
It used to tear me up inside
when they yelled and screamed,
but now I'm numb to their hate.
I don't even hear their insults,
or feel their blows.
It ticks them off
when I don't react
so they hit harder and yell louder,
a shame I don't bruise easily

But they're there,
